Pirates & Armadas is free massively multiplayer browser based game also referred to as a PBBG currently in development. The game will be a a combined turn-ticker-based city building game inspirered by both real time and turn based strategy games.
Set in 17th century caribbean you recieve as a player a letter of Marque from one of the great European nations and take off to the new world to establish a small tradepost. Once settled the player can evolve the outpost to a rich colony and choose whether to make a fortune from trading, producing ressources or by attacking and pillaging enemy colonies. You have to control a fleet of merchant ships and a armada of galleons and frigates while batlling the enemy and pirates in a game world including thousands of other placers. Of course you can choose just to be a pirate feating on the hard work of other players.
